Dr. Bennetts attended the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine where he obtained a DDS degree. Upon graduation, he was awarded the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery achievement award for his academic excellence.
He was then accepted to the University of Texas-Houston Health Science Center to complete the dual degree oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program. As part of his training, Dr. Bennetts received his medical degree and also completed an internship in general surgery.
Dr. Bennetts has well-rounded training in oral surgery, including in-office anesthesia, wisdom teeth removal, exposure of impacted teeth, bone grafts, soft tissue surgery, and maxillofacial pathology.
He enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, fishing, watching baseball games, traveling, trying new foods, and watching movies.
